February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past months the insurers in Azerbaijan gathered only AZN 20.314 million on mandatory insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank, this figure is by 30% more against January 2019. Thus, last month the compensation payments on mandatory insurance also increased by 9.4% from AZN 6.36 million up to AZN 6.959 million.

This January AZN 2.58 million of premiums (or 12.7% of mandatory insurance premiums) and AZN 221,500 (3.2% of compensation payments) accounted for life insurance.
