August 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has revoked the operating licenses of 4 insurance intermediaries as part of regulatory enforcement actions.

Pursuant to Article 107.1.2 of the Law "On Insurance Activity", the decision was taken after the entities failed to rectify within the specified timeframe the deficiencies that had previously led to the suspension of their licenses. Consequently, licenses were revoked for 1 corporate insurance broker ("Sizin Sigorta Brokeri" LLC), 1 individual insurance broker, and 2 individual insurance agents.
