August 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July 2026, insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan collected a total of 1,006.4 million manats in insurance premiums. According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, this represents a 7.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Breakdown of Insurance Premiums by Sector:

• Life Insurance: Premiums in life insurance reached 580 million manats (up 9.2% year-on-year). Voluntary life insurance accounted for 542.1 million manats of this total, while compulsory life insurance contributed 37.9 million manats.

• Non-Life Insurance: Non-life insurance collections totaled 426.4 million manats (up 4.9% year-on-year). Voluntary non-life insurance generated 280.9 million manats, while compulsory non-life insurance accounted for 145.5 million manats.
