August 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July 2026, insurance companies in Azerbaijan collected 40.9 million manats in premiums for voluntary motor vehicle insurance (CASCO).

According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, this represents an increase of 0.5 million manats, or 1.2%, compared to the same period in 2025 (up from 40.4 million manats in the prior-year period).

Claim Payout Dynamics:

• Claim Volume: Total insurance payouts for voluntary auto insurance reached 22.5 million manats during the reporting period.

• Year-on-Year Growth: Compared to January–July 2025 (17.5 million manats), claim payouts increased by 5 million manats, or 28.7%.
