At the end of trading on 5 December at the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of February’s Brent futures rose by $0.39 (0.62%) up to $63.39 per barrel. Their price fell by $0.23 (0.36%) to $63.16 per barrel by 9:20 am.

At the end of trading on 5 December WTI futures for January at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) did not change in price and remained at $58.43 per barrel. Its price decreased by $0.16 (0.27%) to $58.27 per barrel by 9:20 am.
