October 18, Fineko/abc.az. For the past quarter of 2019 Azerbaijan produced more than 9.4 million tons of oil and 8.7 bn cu m of gas.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) says in its report for the 3rd quarter that 26 bn cu m of gas were produced for Jan-Sept of 2019. This year, including the third quarter, 2.1 bn cu m of natural gas was pumped into underground storage facilities. Currently, the gas storage facilities contain 2.9 bn cu m of gas and the process of pumping gas into the storage facilities is ongoing.
