May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has dropped in price by $3.30 (4.45%) to $70.90 a barrel.

Following the 23 May trading at the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), the WTI oil futures for July decreased in price by $3.51 (5.71%) to $57.91 a barrel.

Cost of WTI oil futures for July fell in price by $0.69 (1.19%) to $58.60 a barrel by 09:20 am.

Following Thursday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) the ICE Futures contracts of July’s futures of Brent oil slumped in price by $3.23 (4.55%) to $67.76 a barrel.

July’s futures for Brent increased by $0.80 (1.18%) up to $68.56 a barrel by 09:20 am on Friday.

Since the beginning of the week WTI has declined by 6.6% and Brent by 5.1%.
