April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) published the amount of the monetary base as of 1 April 2019.

The CBA reports that as of 1 April 2019, volume of the monetary base in Azerbaijan totals AZN 8.946 bn.

As of 30 December 2018, the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 9.545 bn.

Thus, the monetary base decreased by 6.3% for the 1st quarter of 2019. At the same time, the monetary base reduced by AZN 67.8 million or 0.8% in March.

The growth of the monetary base in 2018 made up 12% or AZN 1.002 bn.
