September 22, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, individuals transferred $13.5 million from Germany to Azerbaijan (29.3% more against Jan-Jun 2025).

According to the Central Bank, despite increase in revenue, Germany's share in overall cash flow sent to Azerbaijan decreased from 2% to 1.8%. Similar growth rates were observed in the opposite direction. For Jan-Jun 2026, the volume of funds transferred from Azerbaijan to Germany increased by 15% versus Jan-Jun 2025 up to $11.2 million. Thus, Germany's share in overall money transfers sent from our country abroad increased from 4.1% to 5.4%.

According to the results of mutual cash flows, net inflow in Germany amounted to $2.4 million, exceeding the figure of $760,000 for Jan-Jun 2025 by 3.1 times.
