September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Electrical goods and furniture for 2.155 bn manats ($1.267 bn) were sold to consumers in the retail trade network of Azerbaijan for Jan-Aug 2026.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 8.9% higher against Jan-Aug 2025.

These products made up 4.9% of the final consumer spending of customers.

As a whole, retail trade turnover in the country reached 44.3 bn manats ($26.05 bn ) in 8 months. Of this amount, 24.1 billion manats ($14.17 billion) accounted for food, beverages and tobacco products, while 20.2 billion manats ($11.88 billion) for non-food products. The total trade turnover in real terms increased by 3.9%, including in the non-food sector by 6.9%.
