September 9, Fineko/abc.az. The World Bank Group plans to transition to a single country representation model in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote in a post on X.

The minister says that the issue was discussed during a meeting with Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus. The sides reviewed the current state of cooperation and new project initiatives.

"Our discussions covered the current state of our cooperation and new project initiatives, with particular emphasis on expanding SMEs' access to financial resources and unlocking opportunities for economic growth and diversification. We also noted that the World Bank Group's transition to a unified country representation model in Azerbaijan will strengthen the effectiveness of our partnership," the post reads.
