September 10, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Program "On ensuring food safety in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2032" approved by President Ilham Aliyev, two new food safety control points will start operating in the country.

These checkpoints will be built near border checkpoints, in areas with intensive trade and transportation, and will carry out veterinary and phytosanitary checks of imported and exported products.

The main contractor of the project is the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA), and the partners are the State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture.
