September 9, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Statistics Committee, for Jan-Aug 2026, Azerbaijan produced 87.709 bn manats of GDP (rise of 1.2% against Jan-Aug 2025).

The non-oil/gas sector has become the main driver of economic growth. Non-oil/gas GDP grew by 2.1% up to 61.527 bn manats. The oil & gas sector recorded a drop of 0.8%, and the added value created in this area reached 26.18 bn manats.

Indicators by sector:

• Information & communications: +10.7% (2.748 bn manats)

• Transport & warehousing: +8.7% (10.93 bn manats)

• Non-oil/gas industry: +5.4% (14.605 bn manats)

• Agriculture: +2.6% (10.57 bn manats)
