August 17, Fineko/abc.az. According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 12,722,590.97 tonnes of crude oil and bituminous oil products in the first seven months of 2026 (January–July).

Data from the State Customs Committee shows that the value of exported crude oil reached $8,032,903,550. Compared to January–July 2025, export volume declined by 12.08%, while export value increased by 4.86%.

During the 7-month period, crude oil and oil products accounted for 41.54% of Azerbaijan's total export volume.

In total, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover reached $29.216 billion in January–July, with exports accounting for $19.336 billion and imports for $9.881 billion. Year-on-year, exports expanded by 27%, whereas imports contracted by 27.4%.
