August 7, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of 2026, a total of 340 projects were executed in the liberated territories under the "Great Return" program.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 1 billion 64.1 million AZN was utilized for the implementation of these projects.

The largest allocations were funneled into transport and social infrastructure. Specifically, 505.2 million AZN was spent on 76 transport projects (48% execution), 400.5 million AZN on 182 social projects (23% execution), 7.6 million AZN on 36 water management and irrigation projects (3% execution), 15.4 million AZN on 11 energy and industrial projects (11% execution), 60.3 million AZN on 19 defense and law enforcement projects (42% execution), and 75.2 million AZN on 16 other initiatives (31% execution).
