July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Although the growth of housing market prices in Azerbaijan continues, the growth rate has weakened compared to previous quarters.

In the 2nd quarter of 2026, housing market prices increased by 1.6% compared to the previous quarter, according to the State Statistics Committee.

At the same time, in the first quarter of 2026, the growth was 2.2% and in the fourth quarter of 2025 - 3.1%.

The growth rate has also slowed down in the primary housing market. For example, prices increased by 4.3% in the fourth quarter of 2025, by 1.8% in the first quarter of 2026, and by 2.6% in the second quarter of 2026.

However, the growth rate has slowed down more significantly in the secondary housing market. In this segment, prices grew by 3% in the fourth quarter of 2025, by 2.2% in the first quarter of 2026, and by 1.5% in the second quarter of 2026.

However, housing prices continue to rise compared to last year. In the second quarter of 2026, prices in the general housing market increased by 8.6% against Q2, by 12.4% in the primary market, and by 8.6% in the secondary market.
