July 16, Fineko/abc.az. A massive urban project is underway in Abu Dhabi as Aldar Development spearheads the transformation of Fahid Island into a wellness-focused master community with an estimated investment of $10.9 billion.

Slated for completion by 2029, the development will feature over 6,000 residential units integrated into an eco-friendly urban ecosystem, where approximately 30% of the land will be dedicated to pristine natural sanctuaries and anchored by a central 10-kilometer park.

The island is designed with shaded corridors to encourage pedestrian transit, comprehensive recreational and athletic infrastructures, and will also host a dedicated campus of the prestigious British school, King’s College School Wimbledon. Positioned as a premier residential destination, Fahid Island aims to bolster Abu Dhabi's investment appeal while setting a new benchmark for high-quality, health-conscious coastal living.
