July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, the Azerbaijani economy grew by 0.8% against the 2025 same term. Thus, the zero dynamics recorded at the end of the first 5 months is left behind, the State Statistics Committee informs.

The oil & gas sector decreased by 0.7%, while the non-oil/gas sector observed growth by 1.5%. As a result, growth rate in the non-oil sector increased from 0.4% for Jan-Jun 2026 up to 1.5%, becoming the main driver of economic growth.
