April 2, Fineko/abc.az. The income of Azerbaijani banks from loans for Jan-Feb 2026 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank, that in the first 2 months of this year, banks' interest income on loans amounted to 714.8 million manats (121.4 million manats or 20.4% more against Jan-Feb 2025).

Banks' interest income on loans for the 2025 same term amounted to 593.4 million manats.

Over Jan-Feb 2026, interest expenses totaled 327.9 million manats. Most of the interest expenditures are interest expenses on deposits.
