February 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is expected to introduce a Digital Currency Platform and integrate it into the ecosystem.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the Action Plan for accelerating Digital Development for 2026-2028, approved today by President Ilham Aliyev today.

According to the document, its purpose is to increase cost efficiency and transparency of financial transactions.

The financing of the activities envisaged by the Action Plan will be provided from the State Budget and other sources stipulated by law.
