December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, individuals’ money transfers from Azerbaijan to Russia, excluding capital transactions, amounted to $34.289 million (22.6% less versus Jan-Sept 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The share of money transfers from Azerbaijan to Russia decreased from 10.8% to 9.5% for Jan-Sept 2025.

In 9 months, individuals made money transfers from Russia to Azerbaijan for $343.888 million (16.3% less against the 2024 same term). The share of money transfers from Russia to Azerbaijan declined from 48.4% to 40.5%.
