November 12, Fineko/abc.az. The funds allocated to the Agency for Sustainable & Operational Social Security (DOST) under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population must be separately indicated in the budget.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the conclusion of the Accounts Chamber to the Draft Law on the Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund under the Ministry for 2026.

The document notes that currently the activities of the DOST agency are funded by both the UIF and the State Social Protection Fund, but these expenses are not specified separately in budget documents.

The Accounts Chamber believes that reflecting the cost of maintaining funds allocated to the DOST agency will increase transparency and accountability of public funds and facilitate the assessment of the results achieved with the allocated funds.

The Institution declares that for this it is important to implement the necessary legal norms.
