September 25, Fineko/abc.az. The efficiency of solar panels in Azerbaijan is currently about 25%.

ABC.AZ informs that the founder and CEO at Provitaz LLC, Emin Mammadov, made the relevant statement at the event "Green Energy Week 2025: Azerbaijan and Central Asia", held in Baku.

According to Mammadov, solar panels are currently important inthe development of renewable energy: "Their effectiveness is very important. It is necessary to have the most recently updated panels. Our clients sometimes don't understand the difference between the panels. But we have to explain this difference to them and show them the effectiveness and different types of panels. Currently, the efficiency of solar panels is close to 25%. In 2013, this figure was maximum of 15%."

He noted that over the past 10 years, there have been positive changes in inverter devices: "Now one of the important issues is integration of inverters into the network."
