September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Silver has reached a 14-year high. At the moment, September futures are trading at $42.78 (+1.53%) per ounce, according to trading data.

As reported by ABC.AZ, the price of the metal has risen by more than 44% this year and has been growing during 9 of the last 11 sessions.

Gold futures on Friday, September 12, are also gaining. However, they slightly pulled back after the record close of the previous session.

September gold futures are now rising to $3,689 per ounce, adding 0.42%. Overall, gold has gained more than 38% since the beginning of the year and more than 42% compared to last year. This month alone, bullion prices have increased by nearly 5%.
