September 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is introducing a trial visa-free regime for Russian citizens, according to ABC.AZ, 

“From September 15, 2025, to September 14, 2026, a trial visa-free policy will be in effect for Russian citizens holding regular passports,” the ministry’s spokesperson Gao Jiakun said at a briefing on September 2, acco.

Gao Jiakun clarified that Beijing has decided to increase the number of countries whose citizens are eligible for visa-free entry into China. According to him, this is being done as part of efforts to promote reciprocal travel between residents of China and other countries.
