July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Aeroflot has cancelled 22 flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and 31 flights to the capital of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, ABC.AZ reports, referring to airport's online scoreboard.
Speech is about the airline's own flights and those operated jointly with its subsidiary Rossiya Airline.
Spot cancellations of flights were carried out until 10:00 on Moscow time, then company's own flight program stabilized, the Aeroflot press service reported. On Tuesday, 93% of flights from Moscow and back are planned on the original schedule (216 paired flights out of 233).
The day before, nearly 80% of flights from the planned daily program were completed, the company added. Schedule adjustments, including cancellations, mainly affected flights from Moscow and back - the regional part of the program was fully implemented.
The day before, Aeroflot's IT infrastructure was subjected to a large-scale cyberattack, which led to massive delays and cancellations of company's flights. The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation announced the initiation of a criminal case on illegal access to computer information.
