August 31, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation and Consumer Market Control under the President of Azerbaijan is conducting a study and analysis of tariffs for services provided by Aztelekom LLC, as well as the internet speeds offered.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the agency, control measures are being carried out regarding the activities of natural monopoly entities that require approval, within the framework of applications submitted in accordance with Article 39.2.1 of the Competition Code.

The control measures cover, in particular, the introduction of new tariffs for traffic localization services, as well as the establishment of a minimum internet speed in the broadband internet services market.

Investigations and analysis in both areas are currently ongoing.
