August 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has added two more foreign companies to the register of foreign insurers, reinsurers and insurance brokers.

According to ABC.AZ, these are Kazakhstan-owned Verny Insurance Broker and UAE-owned SHIELDS Reinsurance Brokers Limited. Thus, the number of foreign brokers operating in Azerbaijan’s insurance market has reached 103.

Earlier, in July this year, British company Ardonagh Specialty Limited, Latvian company Marine Underwriting Services SIA, and insurance company CIB Georgia Insurance Broker LLC were added to the register of insurance brokers.
