February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Norwegian military company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace is negotiating with the authorities in Kiev to establish a joint venture for production of rockets, which may be launched in the coming months, ABC.AZ reports, referring to company’s head Eirik Lee.

On Thursday, Norwegian newspaper VG informed that the Norwegian armed forces have received the green light from politicians to allocate almost $144 billion over the next 12 years as part of the largest increase in defense spending in history.

The publication noted that more employees will work in the Armed Forces, and investments will be directed to new submarines, frigates, standard vessels, air defense systems and drones.
