Azerbaijan unveils data on wheat bought abroad for past 11 months

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijan imported 1,117,277 tons of wheat.

The cost of wheat in this volume reached $241.94 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee.

For Jan-Nov 2023, our country imported 1,094,975 tons of wheat for $283.378 million (2% more in terms of volume and 15% less in terms of cost than on an annualized basis).
Wheat import expenses for Jan-Nov 2024 made up 1.28% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses.
