November 25, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, 169 projects with a total value of 21.5 billion manats are to be financed in Azerbaijan through state capital investments.

ABC.AZ informs that Accounts Chamber’s chairman Vugar Gulmamedov said about this during the discussion of the Bill on State Budget 2025 at the MIlli Majlis plenary session.

According to ACA chair, 14 projects will be new, and implementation of 155 projects began in previous years.

It is planned to allocate 267.8 million manats for completion of 85 projects with total cost of 798.4 million manats next year. 895.9 million manats will also be attracted from international organizations, which will increase the external national debt.

In 2025, the costs associated with servicing the national debt and obligations will amount to 1.3 billion manats - 3-fold more than in 2024. The chair noted the need for additional measures to reduce the impact of the debt burden on fiscal sustainability.
