 October 29, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2024, the volume of loans given to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in Azerbaijan without establishing a company (legal entity) has broken a new historical record.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the volume of loans given by banks to individual entrepreneurs amounts to 3.472 billion manats (543 million manats, or 18.5% more than at the beginning of the year). In early 2024, this volume reached 2.929 billion manats.

The portfolio grew by 2.8% in the last month alone.

98% of those loans were given in the national currency – 3.408 billion manats.
