October 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan-Oman Direct Investment Fund will become a shareholder of state-owned Azər-Türk Bank through the acquisition of new shares.

The potential investment will be realized through an additional share issue, as a result of which bank's authorized capital will be increased. The relevant agreement was signed on September 25-26 within the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in Baku.

The bank has been operating since 1995 and currently has authorized capital of 100.5 million manats. Among its main shareholders are SOCAR (51%), the State Service for Property Issues (24%), Zıraat Bank (Turkey) and its international structure, as well as AzRe Təkrarsığorta and Qala Həyat Sığorta.
