October 2, Fineko/abc.az. If peace and security are not guaranteed in the Caucasus, completely different realities may emerge in our region.

This was stated by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, during the CAMCA Regional Forum.

Hajiyev emphasized that the long-standing Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict has been resolved, with Azerbaijan demonstrating strategic patience and leadership throughout the process. He noted that winning the peace after winning the war is equally essential, and Azerbaijan achieved peace through the strategic vision of President Ilham Aliyev.

The Presidential Assistant added that Azerbaijan is currently awaiting the resolution of the final issue regarding changes to the Constitution of Armenia, after which the signing of the final peace agreement will become a reality.
