October 1, Fineko/abc.az. According to the CBA, at the end of August 2026, the number of unique customers with term deposits in banks increased by 27.2% versus Jan-Aug 2025 and reached 226,056 people.

The total volume of term deposits of individuals grew by 20.5% up to 11.52 billion manats.

At that, due to the faster growth in the number of depositors compared to the volume of deposits, the average deposit size per client decreased by 5.3% year-on-year to 50,964 manats.
