June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The rate of foreign tourist arrivals in Istanbul in the first quarter of this year grew by 10% against Q1 of 2023 up to 5,244,936 people. Russians occupy the 1st place among foreigners coming to the city — 167,824 people.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Istanbul Culture & Tourism Department that most people arrived in Istanbul this year by air. The number of arrivals by sea decreased by 29%.

Among those who visited the city this year, citizens of Azerbaijan, Germany, Iran, the USA, France, England, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Uzbekistan, the People's Republic of China and the Netherlands predominate.
