December 7, Fineko/abc.az. From 1995 to the 1st half of 2023, the UK invested $35 billion in Azerbaijan, $33 billion of which were directed to the oil & gas sector.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said this during a meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and the UK.

"During the same period, Azerbaijani investments in the UK amounted to $2 billion," he said.

Parviz Shahbazov noted that the main imports from the UK are equipment, vehicles, ferrous metals, pharmaceutical and chemical products.

"While Azerbaijan exports mainly crude oil, fertilizers and various equipment to the UK," Shahbazov said.
