June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2023, the premiums of 17 out of 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan increased against 2022 and three companies decreased, ABC.AZ informs with reference to CBA’s statistical report.

The largest increase of premiums was recorded on Azərsığorta OJSC - AZN 12.089 million of premiums for Jan-Ma 2023 (2.8-fold more than 1 year ago). The smallest increase on premiums was recorded on A-Qrup Sığorta. This company collected premiums for AZN 9.218 million (7.9% more than 1 year ago).

Among the companies whose premiums have decreased, Ipək Yolu Sığorta OJSC has the worst situation. This company’s income decline by 77.5% to AZN 1.408 million. And from angle of reduction of premiums, AzSigorta observed the best situation. Its earnings decreased by 15.3% to AZN 4.136 million.
