April 13, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Department of Commerce has decided to introduce export restrictions for 28 commercial organizations.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the EADaily that one Armenian company also appears among Russian, Chinese and Turkish companies.
The Joe Biden administration claims that the blacklisted firms are engaged in "activities directed against the national security and foreign policy interests of the U.S.".
The companies were subjected to restrictive measures for "bypassing export controls and buying or attempting to buy American products to support Russia's military and/or defense industrial base".
As a result of the restrictions imposed, suppliers will not be able to ship American products to legal entities under the sanctions of the U.S. Department of Commerce without first obtaining a special license.
