February 17, Fineko/abc.az. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has embarked on a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany to attend the 59th Munich Security Conference.

ABC.AZ reports that on February 17, President Ilham Aliyev met with CEO of the German Eastern Business Association Michael Harms in Munich.

President Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan has created good conditions for the activities of German companies with which there is already successful experience. He also stressed that cooperation has been established between the two countries in the industrial and trade spheres, in various sectors of the economy.

Highly appreciating expansion of Azerbaijan-Germany trade turnover last year, the head of state regarded the increase in mutual exports as a positive factor.

President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of the European Union, with which our country has close relations.
