April 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Armenia has lowered its economic growth forecast from 5.3% to 1.6%.

ABC.AZ reports that Moody's also changed its forecast for Armenia.

Thus, according to the forecast of the well-known financial institution, economic growth in Armenia will decrease to 1.8% in 2022 and to almost 3% in 2023.

The MPs also voiced sad predictions about Armenia. After the forecast, MP Tazos Avetisyan from the Hayastan bloc stressed that the economic downturn in the country is inevitable if the government does not take real and adequate anti-crisis measures.

Analysts, however, believe it is inevitable that the country's economy will shrink by another 25% in 2022.
