January 31, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani scientist Adil Bagirov has been appointed a member of the Board of Experts of the Australian Research Council (ARC).

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora that this is stated in the published composition of the ARC expert group for 2022.

ARC is considered an organization of the Australian Union. This institution advises the Australian Government on research issues, manages the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP) and is responsible for research achievements.

The Azerbaijani scientist, born on 7 January 1960 in Bilasuvar district, is a graduate of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Azerbaijan State University (now the Baku State University).
