Electronic cigarettes included in list of excisable goods

November 17, Fineko/abc.az. At today's session the Azerbaijani parliamentarians discussed the draft amendments to the Tax Code in the 1st reading.
ABC.AZ reports that the list of excisable goods includes tobacco substitutes, disposable electronic cigarettes, hookahs and their substitutes.
According to the draft, an excise tax rate of 30 manats will be applied for each kilogram of tobacco substitutes, and 0.25 manat for each unit of electronic cigarettes, hookahs and their substitutes.
The excise tax rate on cigarette products is 38.5 manats per 1,000 cigarettes. Earlier the excise tax rate on cigarette products was 35 manats per 1,000 cigarettes.
