ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated about this to journalists, when talking about the increase in tariffs for electricity, natural gas and some other products in Azerbaijan. 

"It is known that some products are imported to Azerbaijan from abroad. Can the Azerbaijani government somehow influence their price? No. Azerbaijan has imported products related to the municipal sector. And this inevitably affects the formation of the cost price. If the prime cost increases, the company selling the product reflects this in the price of the product," Sharifov emphasized.
