September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of services in Azerbaijan's economic relationships with foreign countries for the first 6 months of 2021 reached $4.4 bn. 

ABC.AZ reports that of them, $2.9 bn is services rendered by non–residents to residents of Azerbaijan and $1.5 billion is services provided by residents of Azerbaijan to residents of foreign countries. In general, the deficit in the balance of services decreased by 2.1% to $1.3 bn. The deficit in the balance of services in the oil & gas sector (mainly construction services and other business services) amounted to $976.9 million (decrease of 20.1%).

The deficit of the balance of services in the non-oil sector amounted to $323.6 million (a rise of 3.1 times).
