August 3, Fineko/abc.az. The European Commission has taken a decision on allocation of the first 3 bn euro from the Anti-Crisis Fund created by the European Union to eliminate the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.
Of them, 770 million euro will be transferred to Belgium, 12.1 million euro to Luxembourg, and 2.2 bn euro to Portugal in the form of initial financing.
Thus, Belgium, Luxembourg and Portugal became the countries that received primary funding within the European Economic Recovery Fund (RRF).
According to the latest assessment of the European Commission, the total amount of allocated funds will amount to 723.8 bn euro.
