July 14, Fineko/abc.az. British company Anglo-Asian Mining Plc., engaged in the extraction of gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, extracted 16,740 ounces of precious metal ores in the equivalent of gold in the 2nd quarter of this year on the contract territory of Gedabek.

ABC.AZ reports that production increased by 8.5% compared with the first quarter of this year. In Q1 of 2021 these volumes amounted to 15,431 ounces of gold equivalent.

In Q2 of this year, compared with Q2 of 2020, the extraction increased by 17%. In the 2nd half of 2020 this figure was 14,301 ounces of gold equivalent. Earnings from this production increased by $13.7 million up to $36.6 million by the end of June 2021.
