July 6, Fineko/abc.az. AzerGold attaches special importance to increasing the human resources potential, which is one of the most important elements for the development of the mining industry in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that this is said in the written statement of company’s chairman of board Zakir Ibragimov about the 5-year activity of AzerGold CJSC.

He noted that currently AzerGold employs about 500 people, as well as 1,000 employees of partner companies.

According to the statement, the employment level has significantly increased in Dashkesan district, where gold and silver are currently being mined and processed: "In the coming years, it is planned to take appropriate steps in this area, take measures to create new jobs in other districts. AzerGold development strategy for the period until 2035 has been developed. In accordance with the strategy it is planned to attract up to 13,000 employees only at the most active stage of project implementation in connection with non-ferrous metals."
