June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan plans to create new model ‘Family-Guardian’, which provides for children deprived of parental care to live in family atmosphere.
ABC.AZ reports that the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population has started appropriate institutional preparation in this direction, as well as the creation of a legislative framework.
The Family-Guardian model stipulates preventing children deprived of parental care from entering children's institutions and creating conditions for their raising in family atmosphere, a mechanism for supporting family-guardians.
