March 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the course of the control measures the inspectors of the Food Safety Agency (AQTA) checked 70 kg of frozen chicken meat imported by Caspian Catering Supply LLC from Belarus.
ABC.AZ was informed at AQTA that during the inspection the samples of imported products were selected and transferred to the appropriate laboratory of the Azerbaijan Institute of Food Safety. As a result of lab tests of samples taken from the batch of products, salmonella was detected - a pathogenic microorganism.
In this regard, appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
